First Steps of a Foreign Student Exchange

The Kent school is planning to send a representative to the Maldives in June 2009 with MWSRP's research team. She will make contact with the Maldivian school and carry out all the necessary risk assessments before reporting back.
The aim is to make the exchange an annual occurence which will begin in April 2010.
Both sets of students will benefit from a culture exchange, and life experience. The hope is for this to become the first step to increase Maldivian student's further education options.
UK students will also study ecotourism, and sustainable development within the Maldives whilst helping the MWSRP's research team for a few days and, hopefully, enjoying whale shark encounters.
