Dhigurah School Day Out

MWSRP facilitated another day out with teachers and students from Dhigurah School. The team was accompanied by five boys, five teachers and five girls (who this year showed an interest in aiding the team's research efforts).
Still no females sighted this trip!

The team still have not sighted any female sharks this research trip, making the question, "Where are all the females", more apparent.
Shark Alliance Marks Global Ocean Policy Day.

Brussels 13.5.09: The Shark Alliance is marking Global Ocean Policy Day by calling on EU Fisheries Commissioner, Mr. Joe Borg, to strengthen one of the EU's most important and far-reaching policies for sharks: the ban on "finning" (slicing off a shark's valuable fins and discarding the body at sea).
